Meg Caruso is an artist, designer, and public art producer based in Harrisburg, PA. Her work spans many mediums, embracing themes of creativity, community, and connection.

TheBurg News: Meg is proud to be the Creative Director and Co-Owner of TheBurg News. TheBurg is Harrisburg community’s news source and is best known for celebrating the people, places, and stories that shape our region. Through our print and online platforms, TheBurg both reflects and enriches greater Harrisburg, fostering a sense of community, pride, and progress.

Sprocket Mural Works: In 2014, Meg co-founded Sprocket Mural Works, a public arts non-profit, and currently serves as Executive Director. To date, she has organized and produced over 100 public mural projects in Central PA.

Sprocket uplifts the region through vibrant, large-scale murals that have a daily impact on both residents and visitors. By collaborating with artists, volunteers, and local businesses, Sprocket transforms ordinary spaces into meaningful landmarks. Our murals promote well-being, foster civic pride and create a shared identity in our communities.

Quiet Clay: In 2017, Meg returned to her personal art practice, working with clay to create functional porcelain ceramics and meditative sculptures. Under the name Quiet Clay, she finds joy in crafting simple yet elevated pieces that resonate calm.

Pennsylvania College of Art & Design: Meg is a proud alum of PCA&D and currently serves as the vice-chair of the Board of Trustees.

By fostering artistic excellence, critical thinking, and professional growth, the college inspires students to become visionary leaders who transform their communities and the world through the power of creativity.
